The organization was established as a "Corporation for Non-Profit" in the State of Ohio in 2004.  It is classified as a 501(c)(3 organization under Federal government guidelines. It has no strategic alliance with any other organization.

Charter Advisory Board

The role of the "Charter Advisory Board" was to help ensure the Institute’s independence in its first year of operation, an unbiased approach to results and Benchmarking reports, and to help suggest names of individuals to serve on PHI Institute Expert Panels.  The one year term expired on 9/1/2005.

Disclosure:  There was no financial support provided to PHI Institute by any member of this advisory board or the companies with which they were associated.
